On Thursday, November 29, 2007, Capital City Golf Association donated $1000 to the Black Achievers Outreach Program at the AE Finley YMCA location in Raleigh, NC. Capital City Golf Association's mission is to help make your life better by serving as a beacon of leadership and brotherhood by utilizing our diverse talents to create an environment where our childern are motivated to achieve and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of the communities in which we server and live.

CCGA raises scholarship money for the youth of the Triangle area through bi-monthly golf events for members from March to October at some of the best courses in the area. We also host an annual charity golf tournament where a portion of the proceeds are donated to a local youth organization.

Highlights from 2007:
  1. Obtained non-profit status.
  2. Hosted our first charity golf tournament.
  3. Gave our first donation in the amount of $1000 to the Black Achievers Outreach Program.
